All The Chancellor's Horses: Austria-Hungary After World War One

The question here is what might have happened had the Austria-Hungarian Empire managed to survive past World War One only to fall to the rise of fascism and communism in the 1930's.

Well...If the Nazis still come to power then they'll be screaming for German Union. They might provoke nationalist uprisings in the A-H Empire to achieve that (by destroying the empire from the inside out, the Nazis can grab at the fringe territories).

A-H, if it keeps all its territory, doesn't have much to whine about and it's unlikely it would become a revanchist power. If it stays together through the Nazi incursions, then it's likely that it would be on the allied side and a major front.
