I need a blank map of the world with national borders

it's be great if it had subnational borders

Or you can google "blank maps". Yo'll get numerous results ranging from just continental outlines to borders.

Did you try saving it as a different file type? I think I posted that one as a PNG file, and it'll try to approximate the colors that were on it originally. Save it as a bitmap.

Also it shows Wales and Scotland as independent countries (but, annoyingly, a lot of world maps seem to do that).

If we're doing joke freehand world maps, how about this?
