Both these warplans are extremely illballanced, since the USA in the pre 1945 period was unable to fight on two fronts at the same time, needing time badly to build up forces and bases first to do anything at all in an offensive war. The Canadian Counterattack also made little sense, since the Canadian Forces were too small and had to fight in the vastness of an entire continent, with far to long borders with the oppposing side.

Secondly, one can suspect that an agressive USA would see the entire World opposed to it, something it could not cope with, since far more formidable opponents would seek an opportunity to correct the situation in favour of the Old World. Any attack on the UK and its Domminions, would be resulting in an allianceforming of European States, also feeling threatened by oversea aggression from the USA, primarily because of economical reasons. It is not excluded the new German Empire would join forces with the UK against such an aggression, which was serious in the early 20th century, since the USA still had to grow to an economical superpower in that time. Any UK-German Alliance was simply too much to cope with for the USA in the first quarter of the 20th century. Add to this possibly France and Russia as well (Alaska case) and the USA woudl stand alone in a hosile world, something it did not want, purely out of economical reaons.
