Seeing as quite a lot of us have them, why not have a thread?

As of now, My Kingdom of Oskania-Borrfy is ruled by the King, me, and the Prime Minister, Xwarq.

We are cunstructing a language, and I have made a flag.

Anyways, I got approval from the Prime Minister to sign an alliance with Pennylvnd, so thats a big step.

Also gotta write the president a letter.

The Empire of Minarchitopia has finished writing our Declaration of Independence from the United States. It will be sent to the President, Vice President, Secretary of State, and Speaker of the House sometime this week. We are also working on constructing a flag and a Constitution. I will also build a website (probably through googlepages), and might possibly make up a language. My Declaration of Independence is based on the US Declaration of Independence. The only difference is that while the founding fathers of the US were doing it because they didn't like the government, I am doing it because I am bored and think that running my own country might be kind of fun. So I edited it accordingly:

A Declaration by the Sole Representative of the Empire of Minarchitopia​

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the Earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

I hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, and among these are fun, eccentricity, and the pursuit of harmless entertainment – that to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any form of government ceases to fulfill those ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute a new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to interrupt the monotony of their everyday lives. Recklessness, indeed, will dictate that governments long established may be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly, all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to pointlesss revolutions, than to suffer inconveniences of any kind. So, when a long train of irritations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to induce them to absolute boredom, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such circumstances, and to provide for themselves a new source of entertainment. Such has been my situation for interminable eons, and such is now the necessity that constrains me to alter my former system of government. The history of my life as of late is a history of a man with absolutely no social life, this has contrived to establish a state of absolute boredom. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid World:

I have no job.

I have no hobbies.

I have no girlfriend.

I, therefore, the sole representative of the Empire of Minarchitopia, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the World for the rectitude of my intentions do solemnly publish and declare that the area under my jurisdiction is, and of right ought to be, a free and independent state; that Minarchitopia is absolved from all allegiance to the United States government, and that all political connection between the Empire and the United States, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as a free and independent state, we have full power to levy war, conclude peace, contract alliances, establish commerce, and to do all other acts and things which an independent state may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of the divine providence, I pledge to this new nation my life, my fortune, and my sacred honor.

Personally I have created the 'Principality of Okland'.

The name derives from the town I'm from - Fair Oak - Oak - Oakland -Okland.

The nations Head of State is yours truly (Prince George I.)

The Royal Household is Ormond-Burrell.

This is the current national flag though it's one of many I shall generate:

Soon I shall generate a map of the nation, and also some Coat of Arms and a motto and so forth.

The Minarchitopian flag, which I have just finished. The similar design to the US flag represents the close ties that we have historically had with the US. The golden cross represents my nation's Christian heritage (since currently 100% of my population is evangelical) and having purple and white stripes instead of red and white symbolizes the fact that Minarchitopia was created by royal decree (thus the purple) without bloodshed (thus the white). The crown of course represents the supremacy of the Emperor.

I never saw the need to officially declare myself separate from the United States - the ideals put forward by the Montevideo Convention fulfill all I need for that (basically, a nation can be independant and free even if others don't recognize it).

I hereby establish the Glorious Imperial Socialist Republic of Prometheania!!

@Gamb: Very cool flag - want me to make a cleaned up version for you?

@TheSevenLeggedFallyDowner: Nice concept but I would suggest using a cleaner, simpler version for the crown.

However it would be nice for the united States to know? But what if they decide to cut the power?

Oh and on current news, turns out Xwarq thought we where just playing, and now has dropped all affliation with the Kingdom of Oskania.

The Kingdom is now an Absolute Monarchy.

Also, Highlander how are we going to sign the Alliance?

Yeah, I was looking for one, but I couldn't find a nice clean one. That was as close as I could find. Plus I like it because it looks sort of like the plastic one that I've been wearing ever since I established the Empire. :D

Its from my parents but yes. Although I did annexed one piece and the Telescope building. And a forest that was previously Dutch goverment owned.

Thanks. The street has only 4 farmers and its divided pretty equally and its surrounded by water which makes a good border.

Already being done, but the wonderful Transparent Blue. :)

One thing I see about the Treaty I dont understand.

To be in the W.A.M. we cant have relations with the UN? Surely our greatest hopes are recognition from a greater nation.

Latin: Sententia vadum addo ubertas quod justicia

Norwegian: Skjønt skal bringe fruktbar og rettsvesen

I may be wrong. My latin is a bit rusty, and the Norwegian I just got from an online translator, and you know how weird they can be sometimes.
