TL 191 WI: How can the CSA win in WWI?
What the title says: How can the CSA in TL 191's WWI win against the United States. Can they win if they managed to capture Philadelphia as they almost did in the TL, or do they have to do more for the US to accept surrender?
And if the US surrenders, what happens in Europe? Can the CSA feel safe enough from the US to send a significant amount of troops, or would the Black rebellion still occur that makes it impossible? Could the Triple Alliance still win in Europe if there is no CSA intervention? |

I fiddled with a TL like this. The USA could lose (I stress the 'could') if they underwent a similar Marxist-ish revolution. Very much depends on how things go over the 50ish years since the Civil War.
If a black rebellion occurred, it could spell doom for the CSA even faster than a USA onslaught. Also depends heavily on the industrialization the CSA undergoes in the intervening time period. |
