A fairly self-explanitory plan for Operation End Game. Now we all know plans seldom survive contact with the enemy.
This one calls for 11 fleets and more than 20 divisions.

A map for an idea I had earlier.

The states of the Federative States of America (FSA).

Following the Mexican War in the 1830's the then Republic of Texas had gained a sizable chunk of land, roughly OTL Southern California,
Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.

In the early years their was talk of joining the United States, however as more and more people immigrated to the territory, badly in need
of manpower the popularity of the idea began to fall, however the status quo was not quite popular either.

1850 - The Second Mexican War began as Mexico declared war on what was then Texas.
The war would result in even further losses for Mexico as the Central American Federal Republic, having it's eye on the Yucatan and needing
a common cause to unite its people declared war on Mexico.
In the end Mexico would lose the Yucatan to Central America and the Baja peninsula, most of Sonora and part of Northern Chihuahua to Texas.

1852 - Delegates from across the country met in Houston to create a Constitution.

1854 - Following two years of negotiations a Constitution, similar to that of the United States, was adopted, establishing the Federative
States of America.
The Constitution notably made no mention of slavery, a result of negotiations over the issue having come to a virtual stand-still during the
drafting process.

1856 - New Mexico officially abolishes slavery, leaving Texas as the only slave-state.

1858 - As a result of demographic shifts and pressure from the other states Texas abolishes slavery.

1862 - The Federal Constitution is amended, officially abolishing slavery in the FSA.

1863 - The (US)American Civil War begins.

1864 - The FSA declares war on the Confederates, using the continuous border incursions by 'Hunter's' as its casus belli.

1865 - The FSA occupies roughly half of Louisiana.

1867 - The War ends with the US capture of remaining CSA territory, however the United States would still end-up smaller.
A large majority of blacks and a minority of whites did not want to go back to being part of the US, for varying reasons, however the US
was'nt about to give up its control of the Mississippi river.
In the end it was decided that the portion of Louisiana West of the Mississippi would vote on whether or not to join the FSA or re-join the USA.
The result, do to blacks being entitled to vote, was a 77% vote to join the FSA.

1874 - Informal negotiations between the FSA and the Kingdom of Hawai'i begin.
Hawai'i, leery of the increasing European and (US)America presence and what it might lead to looked to the FSA, who it saw in a positive light for help.

1885 - A group of Western businessmen and un-uniformed soldiers try to break into the Royal Palace in an attempt to force the King to sign
a new constitution, the group however was confronted by a very well armed FSA marine squad who were escorting the Ambassador at the time.

1886 - Hawai'i requests protectorate status from the FSA and is subsequently granted it.

1887 - Following a Slave Rebellion on Cuba the Spanish forces were forced to retreat until reinforcements could be sent.
The FSA, having become virulently anti-slavery openly supported the rebellion.
A month after the rebellion the provisional Cuban government would officially apply for statehood in the FSA, a request that was quickly accepted.

1888 - Spain, in no condition to wage a war, especially against the FSA, and well aware such a conflict would result in the loss of
Puerto Rico begrudgingly accepted the loss of Cuba.

1891 - Haiti, concerned that any minor issue might lead to an invasion from the US (who'd since annexed Dominica), applies for statehood
in the FSA.

1900 - Jamaica becomes a major FSA vacation destination, being right in the middle of a major FSA shipping-lane.

1925 - Hawai'i votes on whether or not to end its protectorate status or apply for statehood.
In a close vote 57% choose to apply for statehood.

1950 - With de-colonization on the rise Jamaica is being prepared for independence from Britain, a move that many on the island do not want.

1951 - Jamaica becomes officially independent.

1955 - Jamaica votes to join the FSA with a 62% 'Yes' vote.

The State of Things - 1947

Britwank, but who cares?

The earliest POD for this is a little thing concerning Paul Revere. As he rode out on his famous Midnight Ride, his horse caught one of its hooves in a rabbit hole and tripped. Paul, having not strapped himself in properly, fell with the horse. He bashed his head on a sharp rock with such force that his skull was cracked and he broke his neck. He died within moments.

As such, the rebels were not warned prior to the Battles of Lexington and Concord and were defeated. From here, the Continental Army stumbled along in the war. The loss at Lexington and Concord demoralised the rebel soldiers and gave the British an advantage in position. They were able to reinforce the garrison during the Siege of Boston, forcing the Colonials to fall back. In the New York and New Jersey campaign, the Colonials suffer bigger defeats than in OTL. The same thing happens in the Invasion of Canada by Colonial forces.

The American Colonials, tired of the string of humiliating defeats, need a victory badly. The opportunity came during the British Saratoga Campaign. The campaign was bloody for the Americans, but in the end they successfully managed to repel the British, so a Pyrrhic victory was granted to the Colonials. But this still was not enough. Although France entered the war, they did so with only minor assistance.

As the war progressed, the quality of the British troops improved and, though the defeat in the Saratoga Campaign was demoralising, they achieved victory after victory against the French and Americans. Seeing an opportunity, the Dutch joined the fight alongside Britain, relieving the army somewhat. The Battle of the Chesapeake was won by the British when the Dutch fleet came to support the outnumbered Royal Navy. The war reached a climax when George Washington led an assault on Yorktown. It was a much larger and bloodier battle than in OTL. The Americans surrendered when, already severly exhausted and losing hope, George Washington led a final charge to a target that would give the Americans a strategic advantage. He was intercepted by the 1st Dragoon Guards, who were commanded by Lt. Colonel Banastre Tarleton. Although he was outnumbered, Tarleton was determined to stop Washington from reaching his target.

In what is agreeably one of the more epic moments of military history, the Dragoons and Washington's unit clashed in a violent battle. Tarleton took it upon himself to fight George Washington personally. The two duelled on horseback before being thrown off and resuming their confrontation on foot. The two fought with their sabres as their units brawled in a messy melee. As Washington's unit was beaten, the rebel general was decapitated by Tarleton.

Seeing the defeat and death of Washington, the rebels' souls were crushed and, after an artillery barrage hit directly on the main mass of their army, they surrendered. The Great American Rebellion was over.

France was forced to cede several territories to the Dutch Republic and the United Kingdom. Benjamin Franklin represented the Continental Congress and wrote the official acknowledgement of Britain's rightful possession of the Thirteen Colonies. The war did, however, prompt the British Parliament to make major reforms about the Empire, especially in America. The Thirteen Colonies (referred to from then-on as the Dominion States of America) were made into a dominion with more rights and slightly less taxes granted to the Americans.

During the Collapse of the Spanish Empire, Mexico rose as a power. It had a large contiguous empire that made neighbouring states jealous. Eventually, the Republic of Texas gained independence and held its ground against Mexico. The British were interested about this situation, seeing an opportunity to gain more land. They went to the Texans to talk about integration into their Empire as a dominion. The Texans were reluctant at first but, when Mexico declared open hostilities, they agreed to become absorbed. This angered the Mexicans, who declared war on Britain. This was a drastic mistake, as the Anglo-Mexican War turned out to be an utter failure for them. Britain took control of much of its territory, just as it had done with Louisiana.

Many things happened that mirror OTL, such as the French Revolution, the Napoleonic Wars and the collapse of the Spanish Empire. The Dutch and the British filled the power vacuum that was left over, although the British Empire more so. They became a technical superpower in 1824, when they captured several French colonies in Africa after a short war with them, fought primarily out of British jingoism.

WWI continued as it did in our time line, but WWII happened differently. Japan was on good relations with the British Empire, who did not care about their invasion of China. So, there was never a Pacific Theatre for WWII. Tibet became a free and prosperous nation and absorbed Nepal and Bhutan into their Tibetan Empire. Shortly after the 'Great Afro-Eurasian War' the remnants of the Chinese state grouped together under the leadership of one Mao Zedong, a communist revolutionary. He led a rebellion against the Chinese government and installed the Communist Part as the sole governing body of China. He went on to annex Mongolia into the People's Empire of China and began to ferociously build up his army, receiving training and equipment from the Soviet Union.

At some point during the Great Afro-Eurasian War, Persia invaded and conquered Afghanistan and was confident on "Restoring the Persian Empire to its destined place in the world."

As time went on throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, the British public and government became more and more confident in their strength and their claimed destiny to unite the world...

More maps of this time line are to follow.

I'd guess icecap from the nuclear winter, although it shouldn't be that fast.

They saw WWIII was starting and went "Ah, the heck with it", and launched all their nukes at the USA at once.

This "smoke" - zones of radioactive fallouts.
The blue-ish semi circles - area of arctic winter.

First time playing around with Paint.NET and its effects. The map I originally posted a while back is admittedly ASB. Info I posted at that time:

Slightly wanked USA. Obviously different organization of the western states. The British do better during the War of 1812, which saw those missing parts of Minnesota and Maine go to Upper Canada and New Brunswick, respectively. Yucatan was annexed in 1845, which played a part in the Mexican-American War. Mexican Cession was the same as OTL, as was the later Gadsden purchase. West Virginia was never admitted as a state, but was folded back into Virginia proper after the Civil War. Cuba and Porto Rico were taken over in the Spanish-American War, and were admitted in 1905. Dominican Republic was admitted into the union as "Arawak" in the 1910. Arbitration over the Alaskan border sided with the British, and British Columbia took the panhandle. Those other Mexican states were grabbed in 1918 after the Mexican Expedition spiraled into a Second Mexican-American War, and were admitted during the 1920s and 30s, with the exception of Vizcaino, which came into the Union in 1976.

Februrary 1945.
-This will be a short entry:
-Nanking was finally liberated, but the army doesn't stop there; they keep right on marching towards Beijing (stupid AI)
-Japan's remaining six carrier, all Ikari class, raid Shanghai. Naturally, they discover the presense of an armada. Ships are damaged and a couple of transports are sunk. This delays End Game until next month.

The only thing people are going to have to say is that you shouldn't post random maps. They usually don't have any value, and they have negative value if they're on the standard world base map.
So if you're going to make random maps, give them special effects and illustrate them nicely so they have artistic merits.
(And, no, throwing a Paint.NET effect or two on the map doesn't automatically give it artistic merits.)
