Yellowstone blows, circa 8000 BC

I'm sure at least some of you have heard of the great Yellowstone eruption, forecast sometime in our future. But what if it happened right at the end of the Ice Age? Assuming humanity survived, who inherited North America? Would there even be any survivors north of say, Argentina? How would this impact civilization developing in the middle east?

We have a new ice age. This was before copper, cloth, cows, and damn near the invention of fire. It wouldn't set us back because there wasn't any progress made before then anyway.
