Uploading Pictures

Is there a trick to uploading that I'm missing, or something, because everything, no matter how small, seems to be too big to upload?

Do you have it in the right format? In the 'attach files' section it lists the valid formats for attachments - bmp, gif, etc.

ya i do, just every time it says it's too big, i shrink it, still too big...
