WI: Leia got pregnant in SotME?
Inspired by this thread.
In Splinter of the Mind's Eye, its very strongly implied at one point that Luke and Leia have sex. This is because Lucas hadn't told Alan Dean Foster that they were brother and sister, and in story, they didn't know. Now, its very unlikely that Lucas would decide to make Leia pregnant, but in story, its certainly possible that she could have been, no matter how creepy that is. Now, the novel takes place around two years after the Battle of Yavin, and ESB takes place around three years ABY. Depending on how precise that is, Leia will either still be pregnant, or will have already given birth, when the Rebel Base is on Hoth... assuming she doesn't get an abortion, have the fetus transferred to a host-mother/artificial womb, or have the fetus put in stasis for a better time. So, what choice would she be most likely to make, and how would it change the story?

The baby is the retard offspring of incense. Leia kills herself, and driven by depression Luke becomes evil and the entire saga starts over again.

Heh. The Jedi/Kwasitz Haderach links works surpisingly well, in an odd way.
Anyways, theres that indeed: The kids force powers would most likely be immense. Of course, the opening post is a bit oddly stated: If Leia got pregnant in SotME, then it wouldnt mean all that much in regard to genetics anyways, as in SotME, as has been stated, Luke and Leia are no siblings Really, if we say "in work xyz", we must work with the premises of work xyz... |

Listen, I saw the movie and you can believe what you want but it definitely said that they were brother and sister.
Unless you tell me that book was written by George Lucas, and that he was on crack to change a major function of his story, I will not believe you. If they weren't brother and sister they totally would have been making babies left and right. Its the fact that they found out they were that stopped them. But if they weren't, the kid would still probably be retarded. Out of irony of course. |

Quote:
Susano is positing that if we were to have a scenario take place within SotME, the SotME would dictate the relationship between them (as it had not yet been established). Even though after the book came out, they became siblings, so long as the POD is within the book, then they'd technically not yet be siblings.

me and Godsown had a conversation about this a while ago and we came to the conculison that the kids that the would have would be the most powerful jedi ever, or a blackhole appears in Leia's uterus
