I've removed Hong Kong, Macao and Tibet* as the have well established flags

Tibet may be added if you want to try Chinese Tibet flag ;).

I've alreadly put this the Flag Thread, but got few responses.

Here's my Yunnan Flag.

The Vermillion is from Vermilion Bird of the South
The Blue Circle is for the Yangtze that runs though it
The Pink Flower is for Camellia reticulata the emblem of Yunnan (my best attemped
The Forest Green Back Ground is for the Lush Forest

In general, I suspect we'll see a lot of red and yellow, some Daoist and flower symbols, and if we're lucky, hopefully some dragons ;)

For not getting any responses, thats when I began not now.

I've been helped by Lord Gratton and Shaucker plus a few others.

I was thinking of that flag but that Republic was Pro-Qing Officals declaring indepence in attempted stave of Japanese annexation, It didn't work, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_Taiwan_(1895). But I agree with you it is a nice unique historical flag. I also didn’t want to use the proposal Republic of Taiwan flag on wiki ether. I also didn't use the ROC Flag because it is to much associated with the Kuomintang

I post a flag above that I made for Taiwan above.

Can anyone post a drawling of a Camellia reticulata. So I can beter my Yunnan Flag?
