Yeah. The Gulf of Mexico Special Edition definitely turned out well.

To put it another way the average annual temperature in Murmansk is 10-20 degrees higher then in the majority of Minnesota and most of Scotland doesn't freeze as hard as the Carolinas. Basically the climate in North America is like a 3 year old playing with the thermostat. Icebox, Oven, Icebox, Oven.

All numbers are USDA Hardiness zones that rate climates based on their Annual Average Minimum Temperature.
I am well aware of the current and how it warms the climate up here. It's still weird that we can grow wine. Alcohol industry wise that's not nearly the weirdest thing we've got though. Ask me about Gotlandian rum sometime.

Recently Hugo Chavez announced he was breaking off relations with Colombia, while Maradona was visiting the country. Which gives awesome AH opportunities.

Presidents Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and Diego Maradona of Argentina having a discussion during an OAS meeting in Caracas, perhaps?

Here a true flag who like like alternative history:

The Tropical Union Jack,in fact the 'proposal' flag for the 'commonwealth' (to use a english name), of Caribe, a semi independant Region in Colombia, in fact that is the diferent. the most use is ripoff of the Romanian flag

Those flags still don't beat the flag of Cuzco for ... interpretations.

See what you think:

I think it's the suit.

Here's another:

Churchill leads a ragtag team of shotgun-armed London policemen against the 1914 German invasion of Britain.

You must be extremely squeemish. It wasn't even explicitly graphic or all that bad. I thought it looked quite art-like to be honest. Not even close to mind-raping.

No. That's the actual Winston S. Churchill before WW1 when the Police besieged a house where some Anarchist Bankrobbers had holed up in.

There ya go, the Siege of Sydney Street, 1911.

It is actually Winston Churchill The police were trying to arrest a gang of Latvian criminals in the east end, Churchill was Home Secretary at the time (1911), hearing about the trouble the police were having he ordered a battalion of the Scots Guards to attack the street and went to watch - he got into quite a lot of trouble for it!

I saw in one source that someone shot a hole in his top hat, but that hasn't been confirmed in anything else I've read - it'd definitely be a possibility though with all the bullets that were flying around. Could make for interesting developments in the first world war, let alone the second.

I remember reading about that story for the first time, it's brilliant, as with the stories about Teddy Roosevelt etc it sounds like made-up cracked fiction done using madlibs. "A young Winston Churchill in a top hat in a shoot-out with Latvian anarchists!"
