From a TL were Labour and the SDP adhere to Democratic Centralism and align Britain with the Soviet Union (note the Soviet tanks 'invited by the legitimate government' in the background) after a violent revolution against Thatcherism and a civil war against the openly Nazi National Front?

Actually it's just Anarchists exaggerating things, as usual.

A Taiwanese political party with such a strange name it must have come from one of our 'political ideology game' threads.

Fucking partisans, we want nothing to do with them.

The River Pageant's been brilliant for this:

The Queen Celebrates her Diamond Jubilee as Monarch of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Cornwall. Following the row past of a contingiemt from the Viking Autonomy of Zetland and a salute by the Royal Maori Guard the contingient from the Protectorate of Venice passed the Royal Barge forming the last of the honour guard for the Royal Barge.

Gloriana
Leading the 1,000-strong flotilla will be the Gloriana. The 94ft Royal rowbarge – the first to be built for more than a century – is unique among the participating vessels in that it is the only one specially commissioned for the event.

Originally it was was intended that the Queen or the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would be on board but Her Majesty will now travel along the Thames on the Spirit of Chartwell
