I think that was Daztur's point originally - during the period in question, Korea effectively was a "mere vassal."

They must have looked for the first flags they found in a google search "United Nations" Flags" etc, and put them after that.

The United States took the threat of Apollo astronauts bringing back "Moon Germs" very seriously. Too seriously, perhaps...

He had to sit on top of his C-1A Greyhound transport aircraft on the forward catapult next to the open cockpit hatch. When the Apollo 11 astronauts came on board he could not participate in any of the fun, none of the gawking, none of the partying. If by some chance the NASA decontamination procedure was broken and extraterrestrial “moon germs” escaped into the ship, Commander in Chief of the Pacific Fleet Admiral John McCain was supposed to run to the Greyhound and Boyle would rev up the engines and zoom off the ship. As the germs turned the Hornet’s crewmen to dust, like in a Star Trek episode or The Andromeda Strain, or transformed them all into zombies while a few brave crewmen fought for their lives until the Navy eventually sent a Skyhawk overhead to drop a nuke on the carrier and wipe out the infestation, McCain would fly off to safety. Unless, of course, he too was infected and spread the evil germs to the mainland, in which case all bets were off.
Now there's an idea for a film.

As Cracked can attest to, Communist-era Polish film posters were never very well thought out.

For example, Raiders of the Lost Ark:

The Soviets, though, were no better:

Yes. That's supposed to be Vader.

Not to mention the English flag next to the British one.
