Saturday March 27th Could Henry Malken be a dark horse Vice-Presidential choice With the fall-out of the Vansen affair still hitting the Walken campaign, rumors are still circulating on who will be Walkens VP choice. The front-runners to most are Texas Senator Liz Clark, Indiania Governor Stephen Kenderick and Minnesota Governor Micheal Jack, but there is one name that has almost sneeked below the radar and that is Virginia Senior Senator Henry Malken. Malken is 58, having served the state since 1996 as Senator, before that he was a three term Congressman. Highley respected on all sides, he has called himself a Conservative but a moderate one. He is good friends with Arnold Vinick, but also with Wesley Burke and Don Butler. He did not endorse anyone during the fight for the nomination. In April 2008, Time magazine identified Malken as one of "America's 10 Best Senators." Since the nomination he has supported Congressman Matt Skinner for the Vermont Senate seat. He is against gay marriage, "Marriage is between a man and a women" and abortion but has said "Everyone is an american, gay or straight, what someone does in there bedroom, should not be the business of the Government". He is strong on foreign policy and was a firm supporter of the 2OO5 Camp David agreement. He lost his wife Carol to Cancer two years ago, after her death his gives his Senate salary to a cancer charity. Also he travels from his home in Fredricksberg to Washington everday using the Virginia Railway Express. Malken may be not be the obvious choice but he could be a good one. Sunday March 28th Breaking News Breaking News Senator Cody Riley withdraws his name from VP list Within the last few minutes, Alabama Junior Seantor Cody Riley has announced that he has withdrawn his name from the VP selection. He confirmed that he had been veeted, with an interview with Caleb Burgess, but he has decided to withdraw from the process. "I am very honoured to have been on the short-list, espically at my age. I had a good chat with Caleb, and the rest of the selection team, but when it was clear that I was a serious contender, I spoke to my Wife Rachel, and we decided after talking about it for a while, it would be the best for our family, if I where to remove my name from the list". Rachel Riley is pregant with twins, which are due around Mid-August, right at the start of the main campaign. Asked if he would run for the Presidency one day he said "Who knows, I take each day as it comes, although of course I am ambitious, but 2O18 is long way off", implying that Walken will two terms. Riley would still only be 46 then. Last edited by Marky Bunny; March 29th, 2010 at 11:04 PM.. |

A leak from the Walken campaign has revealed that Walken individually interviewed Virginia Senator Henry Malken, Minnesota Governor Michael Jack, and Alabama Senator Cody Riley yesterday. The leak claimed that he doubted Malken was under consideration for Veep, claiming the meeting was likely over policy, while the Jack-Riley meetings were likely over the possibility of a Veep nomination. |

![]() Sunday March 28th Brooks "Soho needs cleaning out, it is a hive of sleaze and scum" Arthur Brooks, the NPP candidate for London Mayor has called the Soho area in London's West End "A hive of sleaze and scum". His comments came during an newspaper interview with the Evening Standard to be published tommorrow. The NPP is well known for its anti-gay stance, but this was outspoken attack on the largest gay area in the capital, Brooks did not mention Gays, directly but it is clear from the coments what he meant. Conservative candidate Henry Reed who was campaigning today in Croydon, said Brooks remarks where "an insult and outrangerous". Mayor Gerald Fox was asked on the way to Church this morning in Hammersmith about the Brooks story "Frankly it shows him for what he is a, a thug in a suit". Ben Stanley joined the chorus against Brooks "This City prides it himself on its mixture of all races, cultures and lifestyles, Brooks is clearly against that". All the polls show the race to be a three-way tie between, Fox, Reed and Stanley, with Brooks closing in on the Liberal Democrat Candidate Joesphine Blake in fourth. |

Sunday March 28th Riley gives a great performance as his withdraws his name from VP selection So Alabma's Junior Senator is out of the race for running-mate to Walken. His performance during the announcment has still very impressive, giving his reasons that with his wife pregant and due to give birth in August he couldn't be the number two man on the ticket. One veteran jouralist was heard to say "That guy is going to be President within the next fifteen years". So with Riley out of the running, who is Walken going to choose. Indiania Governor Stephen Kenderick has claimed that has no contact with the selection team, which is very. hard to believe. Governor Michael Jack has refused to talk about the subject, as has Texas Senator Liz Clark. We know thanks to his son, Texas Governor Phil Prior has had talks about the job. Georgia Governor Charlie Forrester also seems to be on the short-list, but one has to question his rather strange communication style, and his famous temper. The other name that seems to have cropped in the last days is one that had not been mentioned before, Virginia Senator Henry Malken. Sources from within the Walken camp say the decision will come in the next six to eight weeks. Last edited by Marky Bunny; March 29th, 2010 at 11:04 AM.. |

Vansen's not the only one in trouble...
Sunday, March 28, 2010, California Inquiry California Senate Candidate's Seedy Past Ten years ago, the Daily Mirror of London reported that then-Presidential speechwriter Sam Seaborn was spotted greeting a woman (Laura Milton) at a graduation ceremony at George Washington University. Milton had been confirmed by her close friends as a high-end Washington, DC escort. At the time, it was a slight embarrasment to President Bartlet's staff, but it was quickly forgotten when a statement was put forward citing Seaborn as unaware of her past. His relationship with Ms. Milton was brought up by some of the press (notably, the Los Angeles Times) during Seaborn's failed Congressional run in 2003. His opponent, Republican Chuck Webb, chose not to pursue the matter, and defeated Seaborn anyway, in a landslide. Seaborn returned to private life for years, and nothing regarding the matter was brough up when he was appointed Deputy White House Chief of Staff in late 2006. It seems innocent enough, but Seaborn is now running for the United States Senate from California. He has consistently polled ahead of his opponent, Republican Richard Lassiter, since January, and is on task to win in his own landslide. However, should he win, we could be facing serious ethical and personal violations with a candidate who may or may not have had a longstanding relationship with prostitutes. In December, Former First Lady Libby Lassiter, also mother to Richard Lassiter, publicly brought up that Seaborn was an "unmarried man in his 40s." The attack at the time was considered outrageous by most politicians and her son had to distance himself from the remarks, claiming they had nothing to do with Seaborn's sexual orientation. Could be that, while Seaborn is not gay, maybe he enjoys the company of high-end call girls? It is better to speculate now than to find out nine months from now, when Seaborn could become our next Senator (until 2017!). Why is this being brought up now? Well, recently revealed photographs show that Mr. Seaborn and Ms. Milton attended a White House State Dinner in November 1999. While this still fits the image of him "just being friends." Reports from the night showed her arriving as the date of the late fundraiser Carl Everett and was reported to be "Brittany Rollins" on a now-defunct website detailing the attendees of the state dinner (the original source is unknown). Why would and How could she use a fake name? What was her relationship to Mr. Everett, and could she have been "working?" Only Ms. Milton and Mr. Seaborn know for sure. |

The Rockford File Manhunter: Political Division! Well justice appears to have caught up with Rudi Vansen, the calamitous Governor of New Mexico and returned him to the United States – it’s starting to look even stranger as the prosecutor has already had to drop two of the charges and admitted that the evidence of them was insufficient. I expect a summer of comical court action in store, though Vansen’s attempts to avoid detection in London were very successful, I do like the idea that he was surprised that the local “bobbies” didn’t know who he was. I can’t confirm that the arresting officer was heard to say “Ohhh right NEWWWW Mexico”, whilst smiling and nodding to a colleague. Anyway, all that really seems to be bothering people is whether Glen Walken considered Vansen for Vice-President. Most of the evidence suggests he was under consideration at some point but the insiders suggest he was always a long shot (not as long as he’d be now I suppose). It is impressive how quickly the liberal media have jumped on the story showing just how desperate they are for an angle on Walken. For what its worth I think this will be long forgotten when Walken’s VP is revealed. The list that seems to be doing the rounds includes some strong, and some nutty ones. I’m a big fan of Governor Jack of Minnesota. He’s run a Democratic leaning state excellently and has shown a real flair for both consensus governing and sound conservative principles. The flip side of Jack is the suggestion that former Massachussetts Governor Tom Case may be a surprise late contender – let’s be straight, firstly, he served in the Santos administration. Secondly, he’s practically a Democrat (Republican is a relative term in the Commonwealth) and finally, he’s useless. Either Stephen Kendrick or Liz Clark would be strong choices, on the other hand crazy Henry Malken should be put back in whatever box he appeared from – come on can anyone see themselves proudly displaying a Walken/Malken bumper sticker? Now if Nick Kids are looking for a new show…… |

SEABORN ANNOUNCES PRESS CONFERENCE TUESDAY TO ADDRESS RELATIONSHIP WITH A PROSTITUTE Sam Seaborn, the Democratic candidate for Justine Avery's Senate seat in California, has announced a press conference for tomorrow, to address the story that he had relations with prostitutes. Seaborn, the former White House Deputy Chief of Staff, was seen in several photos with Laurie Milton, a former call girl who is currently an attorney in New Jersey, at a reception in the White House during the Bartlet Administration. Ms. Milton was signed in as a guest of the late investor and noted Democratic fundraiser Carl Everett, under the name of "Bethany Rollins." The press conference will be held tomorrow the Seaborn campaign headquarters in Los Angeles. It appears that Mr. Seaborn will be joined by his wife Lauren Parker-Seaborn, who is a partner with the LA law firm Summers, Calloway and Hamilton. |

Seaborn was still unmarried last December. Is it plausible that he's gotten married since then?
ETA: Actually, I think this should fix any inconsistencies, back-dated a month. Nothing contradicts it, but she's still a long-term fiance (CNN made a mistake). Gives us a "wedding episode" later on though: Los Angeles Times, Sunday, February 28th, 2010[/i] California Senate Candidate Plans June Nuptials Former White House staffer and speechwriter Sam Seaborn, recently nominated by the Democratic Party for Senate, was called out last December by former First Lady Libby Lassiter for being an "unmarried man in his 40s." Seaborn, his staff, and the Democratic Party leadership, were all able to refocus the comment to hurt his Republican opponent, Richard Lassiter (Mrs. Lassiter's son), by making him appear to side with his mother and her well-known anti-gay views. But what of the comment's veracity? It's a matter of public record that Seaborn was born in the 1960s, and he has not been married, but what the incident failed to mention, is that Seaborn does have a special woman in his life. His fiance, who he often brings with him to campaign and is considered by some to be one of his chief campaign aides, Lauren Parker. Ms. Parker and Mr. Seaborn have been engaged to marry since 2005, two years after he joined the Summers, Calloway, and Hamilton, following his failed congressional election. She is his second engagement, as he ended his first one to Lisa Sherborne in 1998 after he joined the Bartlet For America presidential campaign. Ms. Parker is the daughter of Salvadore Parker, the California Lieutenant Governor who was killed in a mugging in 1989. She joined the Summers firm, which employed her father twenty years ago, in 2004 following her graduation from Harvard Law School. In a surprise move yesterday, Seaborn, joined by Parker, announced the wedding date on June 14th, 2010. In the middle of the election season, it is unknown how Seaborn will schedule a honeymoon. It's also unclear if it is a further publicity stunt to get away from the "unmarried man" persona. Last edited by Tim Thomason; March 30th, 2010 at 10:36 AM.. Reason: added article |

![]() Tuesday March 3Oth More names get thrown into VP mix So with Cody Riley announcing his withdrawl from the race to be Walken's running-mate, the media frenzy on who now will be chosen is reaching a peak. Yes the names of Texas Senator Liz Clark, Indinia Governor Stephen Kenderick, and Minnestoa Governor Micheal Jack are regarded as the favourites, but last week a new name seem to enter the frame Virginia Senior Senator Henry Malken, although the media are worried about a ticket called "Walken and Malken". Now sources close to the Walken team, say there are some new names in the mix who have had first interviews Celeb Burgess, these are believed to be Wisconsin Senior Senator Sean Quatermain,57, Wyoming Governor Brad Elton 51, and Nebraska Junior Senator Sarah Newbury,55. There are strong rumours that Former Nevada Senator Dawson Ackland was asked to be veeted but he rejected the offer. These lastest three names are in many ways decent choices, and have good records and although are considered Conservative not too far to the right to scare off moderates. My top three at the moment would be Clark, Kenderick and Jack, but hey it seems the net is being cast wider than first thought, so it could be anyone in the end. The announcement should be made we are told within the next six weeks. |

![]() Tuesday March 3Oth Latest London Mayoral poll A poll by ICM for the Guardian Wednesday has Conservative Henry Reed ahead for the first time ahead of Mayor Gerald Fox and Former Mayor Ben Stanley. The other main story is that NPP candidate Arthur Brooks has overtaken the Liberal Democrats Joesphine Blake into 4th. Reed's campaign got a boost yesterday when George Facer of the PBA withdrew and endorsed him. It also seems that Reed has gained lots of support at the expense of Joesphine Blake of the Liberal Dems.

Transcript of Seaborn Press Conference
Thank you all for coming today.
Recently, a magazine called The California Inquiryposted a story that detailed my relationship with a woman named Laurie Milton, who was working as a call girl at the time, in order to pay her way through law school. This raised speculation about my marital status and whether or not I had ever paid someone for sex. Let me be absolutely clear-I have never paid anyone for sex. My relationship with Laurie Milton consisted of a sexual encounter, before I knew about her job, and a friendship afterwards. I would like to extend my personal apology to Ms. Milton for the attention that has brought her. Now, I got into this race, because I believe that I'm the best candidate to represent the people of California in the United States Senate. I've met a lot of good people in my campaign, people who want to believe in their government, but can't, because of things like this. Stories like this, personal attacks, have no place in politics or government. They should be returned to the arena of gossip and trash where they belong. Determining who should represent the people should be a sacred task, based solely on the issues of who would be the best voice in Washington, not campaign smears and scandals. That is why, right here and now, I am pledging that I will not engage in any personal attacks during this campaign. The people of California, and my opponent, deserve that courtesy. Now, I'm going to go back to work. Thank you all for coming |
