Good timeline. Why is there still a Republic of Texas?

You ever try to get the Texans to do something they don't want to do? Actually, a better question is why is their still an Ottoman Empire?

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

"1968" and "1969" will both be posted in late March.

Nice to see it back. Is a OTL Japan style economic miracle in the UK and France possible? It would be really cool to see an economically super charged Britain in the 1980s and 1990s. Very different from OTL!

Just got into this. Epic. I have a feeling Japan will get the superbomb before the end of the war though too little too late.

Let's hope Japan keeps at least some of it's empire. Maybe just have it keep Korea and Formosa

That was a mistake on an earlier map. The one on page 56 is the most recent one, which doesn't have that error.

Absolutely awesome to see this back! One of the best TL's on this board by far.

More map making out of boredom, been playing around with one of the base electoral maps on here...and came up with this, an election map of the United States as of 1968. The electoral vote numbers are all my guesses, if you guys feel they're off please feel free to point them out to me and I'll see what I can do. Enjoy!

Oh and truly excellent update David, this last one was truly wonderful. March can't come any sooner.

Nice! Now, if memory serves, Red is the Radical Liberals or Socialists, blue is the Democrats, and Green is the Republicans.

And the 1967 timeline feels true to TL-191 with the way the USA has no problem dropping superbombs everywhere (in the GW2 arc by Turtledove, something like 10 superbombs all got dropped or otherwise detonated in the space of a year or less), and Japan equally has no trouble employing chemical warfare.

Looks like Japan's gonna be in for a really rough war and occupation - just a matter of how long they wait till they finally give up and take their lumps. I suspect that ITTL Russia will make a grab for Sakhalin and the Kuriles, while the USA will take over the main Japanese islands wholesale.

Wonder if a joint German-American moon landing is in the cards, and how the British and French are doing, having lost GW2.

Excellent work! Thank you!

A couple of suggested changes: for the 1968 election, Ontario and New Jersey should be both Socialist, while New Hampshire, Vermont, and Wyoming should be Democratic. And PEI should be amalgamated with New Brunswick.

It just used chemical weapons developed with Chinese prisoners in a mass assault and the CDS is throwing nukes around like it's no big deal. I don't think that's in the cards.
