Your challenge, should you choose to accept it is to turn the finest team in the fair city of Perth, Scotland(To clarify for all in Oz), St.Johnstone into the greatest football team on the planet, attracting players from all over the globe with a world record in trophies won.

Make Super Saintees go ballistic! POD any time after 1900.

1995: Bill Gates have more money than he knows how to spend them. Buys the St.Jonstone and invest half his worth in the team.

1996: After the Bosmanruling St.Jonstone buys lots of free agent Brazilian players for midfield and forwards. Buys a few German defenders and have lots of scottish youths on the bench

I think you'd need two major changes, firstly you'd need to get there to be just one league system for the UK as you can't be the worlds greatest team in an uncompetitive league and secondly you'd either need a sugar daddy with a long term commitment or some reason for the population of Perth to grow massively to be able to support a large club. You might even need a sugar daddy and a much larger Perth because there are instances where players would rather join historically bigger clubs than just go somewhere where the owner is going to chuck pots of money at them (Ronaldinho and Man City spring to mind).
