Before Anne Boleyn can become Queen of England and while she is mistress to Henry the VIII, a plot to assassinate her comes to fruition within the Catholic Church. She is shot and killed before their secret marriage in the 1530's and before Henry banishes Katherine of Aragon from court. Does Henry end up being reconciled with Katherine, or does he press ahead with the annulment of his marriage?
