POLAND DIVIDED

There's no way the Polish would be so supportive of the USSR. They fought against them virtually at every chance! If a split Poland did emerge, you can be sure the Western half wouldn't have handed over any territory, especially Krakow.

There are so many things wrong that I don't know where to start... but I'll try:

1. Why would Stalin agree to leave Poland?

2. Western Poland political make-up: where did "Republican Party" came from? What about the OTL parties: Stronnictwo Ludowe (People's Party - agrarian party, most members were farmers), Stronnictwo Narodowe (National Party - nationalists), Stronnictwo Pracy (Labor Party - christian democrats), Polska Partia Socjalistyczna (Polish Socialist Party - socialists)?

3. All above mentioned OTL parties were for land reform and nationalisation of industry.

4. Borders are wonky to the extreme - hint: don't use modern internal administative borders.

5. No Polish state would give its land willingly. NONE.

6. Since when Kraków is a center of labour militancy? Kraków to this day is known for its conservatism. And to try to break its conservatism Communists OTL built in 1950s (after WW2) Nowa Huta industrial ward - now part of Kraków. Didn't work.

7. There were policewoman in pre-WW2 Poland.

8. Bureaucracy OTL was a pain in communist Poland too. I don't see how ITTL it can be different.

All in all, I believe you need to do research first before putting a Polish timeline in no-ASB section.

Perhaps the pod is the Western Allies doing better and/or the Soviets worse [by a slight margin to otl] or the Soviets deciding to take more of Germany. However, there're flaws to be considered.

Actually, a timeline with Two or three Polands is interesting, I have a timeline where a Piast Poland coexists with a Jagiellonian one.

The best capital for a west poland is Wroclaw.
