Berengaria gives birth to a daughter in 1192 named Eleanor. At the time of her father's death she is seven and betrothed to her cousin Arthur of Brittany. How much of Angevin Empire would she of inherited. She is the clear and legal successor to Aquitaine and Gascony, and maybe the overlordship of Brittany.
John, I'm pretty sure would have still claimed England. Would Eleanor of Aquitaine support her favorite son's daughter or her son John?
Richard the Lionheart was King of England, Duke of Normandy, Duke of Aquitaine, Duke of Gascony, Lord of Cyprus, Count of Anjou, Count of Maine, Count of Nantes, and Overlord of Brittany. Three of those he was sovereign of England, Brittany and Gascony.
His consort was Berengaria of Navarre who would of become Queen of Navarre in 1234 if she would of survived.
Questions would it be possible for Eleanor 2 to survive and eventually her or her descendants create a state between France and Spain the "Kingdom of Aquitaine" that spoke Occitan? Or maybe just an enlarged Kingdom of Navarre that included Gascony? Would it be more likely for Arthur of Brittany to survive in this TL?
