You play as a country (basically any country that's not already being played) and have the freedom to do what you wish within the realm of plausibility. So far there's 31 players.

Game is still ongoing. There's also another game that will start sometime early next month set in 2001, it's by a different GM and the way you play it is totally different, but it's still the same concept (you play as a country.)

The 2001 game still hasn't started yet, but besides that there's now a third, totally unrelated game where players play as inhabitants of a fictitious American city (local politicians, police, gang members, journalists, etc.) The 1991 game is still ongoing.

Another bump related to a new game, set in the 3rd century BC. It's the third one going on thus far (1991, 2001 and city game are still around as well), the rules and goal being simple: you pick a country and try to conquer the other players.
