The Writings of Richard D. Lamm

Wasn't sure exactly where to put this, but here seemed the best fit.

On a recent spurt of finding stuff about former Colorado governor Dick Lamm, I've found some of his essays on JSTOR. From what I've read, they amount to part alternate and future history and part self-insert fic. :D

The Reverend Richard Lamm on Trial for Heresy

I've only read the first one so far, but they look like they cover the ethics problems of a future where population growth has continued massively and now there are great shortages of all resources. As essays on resource management, Lamm poses some interesting problems, but as future history, I think his timeframe is rushed and the situation would require a sort of Malthusian explosion in population to occur. Cool though to see an academic paper presented as an FH instead of just being the realm of science fiction and entertainment.

EDIT: There are a few others that he wrote that I haven't been able to find online. These include Some Reflections on the Balkanization of America (1978) and Megatraumas: America at the Year 2000 (1980), both written while he was governor.
