One more thing, JPJ: in some cases, the Speaker or PPT is not a member of the majority party (or the coalition leader). Does this matter?

House:
1808-1814 (I'm assuming Varnum sides with the Republicans in 1808 due to his anti-slavery stance)
1884-1886

Senate:
1816
1900-1902
1912

I changed 1808, but 1810-1814, I think I'll leave Henry Clay in charge of the House as he would have successfully won over both parties in the near fought 1810...and just kept in place because of his ability. Clay is the exception to the rule of Coalition building because he would find a way.

/Edit

For 1884-1886 I properly identified Thomas Ewing based on his party identification.

Senate - 1816, PPT will be given to Daniel Tompkins for being Monroes VP candidate. He's one of the people to win over both factions.

1900-1902 Fixed

1912 - Another close election and as Lodge is a friend of the President, he gets the job.

OK, the tables have been revised again. Note that I've bolded the majority party/coalition.

Just so you know, you've done a spectacular job here, JPJ.
