Searching for multiple terms

I'm trying to read up on stuff about New England, and I want to search for threads about it.

If I search for:
New England
(searching titles only)

It tells me that it omitted the word "New" and I get a shed load of threads about England itself.

If I search for
"New England"
I get no threads found.

Am I being an idiot and missing something obvious, or is the search truly unable to help?

Google "site:http://www.alternatehistory.com " followed by your keywords. It'll work.
