Hitler the Philosopher
I had this rather messed up dream last night. Basicly, instead of being a political figure in Germany, Hitler decided to spread the "Gospel of Naziism" over the globe, as a philosophy. It seemed to catch on very well in the US, resulting in a Nazi US in the 70s, where we were poised to go to war (which would end up being WW2). Unfortunately, at this point, the left (logical) side of my brain decided to trounce on the dream and started making me wonder about the constitutionality of this Nazi US. This resulted in a "dream loop" where I just kept going back to the beginning of the dream. Anyone else have those?
EDIT: Oh yeah, anyone want to play around with this at all? |

I once knew a Tucson-area certified lymphologist (retired). He spent a great deal of time and money pushing his Embassy of YHWH, which was a evangelical Christian sect, that proselytized the practice of Eastern martial arts such as Tai Chi Ch'uan and an international auxiliary language invented by a fascist Estonian schoolteacher, with the same vigor as the study of the scriptures. He even had his own television show on public access. His combined his enhanced version of this Estonian schoolteacher's language utilized Dutton World Speedwords, an obsolescent shorthand writing system developed in the 20s and 30s by a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Ambassador Bob was really one of a kind in this day and age.
This sort of eccentric individual was almost commonplace in the period we're dealing with. I wonder where they've all gone, and if their disappearance (with the exception of individuals like Ambassador Bob) is a good thing or a bad thing.
