As Nicholas Cage's arms dealer character Yuri Orlov says in LORD OF WAR, "There are over 550 million firearms in worldwide circulation. That's one firearm for every twelve people on the planet. The only question is: How do we arm the other 11?"

How could such a universal arming of literally the entire world' pop take place, and what'd be the effects of every-1 in the world owning a firearm ?
