Reminds me of some Proto-Slavic symbols.

No one said the more obvious association: the Trivia Republic.

But anyway, it looks like a Solar symbol. Many cultures around the world came up with similar ways to represent the sun (unsurprisingly) so there you go, "random ancient culture turned modern" while adoring the Sun.

That's my guess.

I like the flag, but shouldn't the inscription be in other language than english? Perhaps in french, latin or greek.

It's part of the joke. That's the OTL seal of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, as in the US state of Rhode Island.

It can actually be more difficult to comment if you have no idea what the flag is meant to be for.

Cool flags
I notice the flags have 13 stripes/stars, but the seal has 14 stars above the crown, and 16 around the bottom. Is this a mistake, or just a style decision?

That's an interesting way to get 50 stars. Where do those "flags" inside the shield come from?

What are the xs around the Presidential Ensign for?

the 16 stars at the bottom are just for style really (and were kinda rushed tbh, why the look wonky)...and the 14 golden stars represent the first 14 states to recognize the monarchy (all the 13 plus vermont)

the flags inside...one is the actual Cowpens flag and the other i made myself

the X's are just decoration (i used the actual OTL seal design of Congress for it, and i liked the style)

Gotcha. So is Vermont a separate entity within the kingdom in this flag's TL?

My bad, I meant the blue with yellow star and green/white with red V and blue shapes with white dots inside the shield.

I guess I never looked closely at the OTL seal.

its not a star, its the sun, taken from the new york seal...the original crest woudlve had just the sun above the red-white stripes of the usa, as the moanrchs family hails from new york here...but eventually they married witht he brazilian braganzas (portugals monarchy) and their coat of arms were united

also vermont is the same here as otl...orgiinaly tried to go independent but became the 14th state

I'm no professional astronomer, but I think the sun is a star...

Thanks for the explanation of the coat of arms.

I am a professional astronomer, and the Sun is very much a star, type G2V.
