Does anyone know where I can good natural resource maps of the whole world? I like the 'economic activities' maps I can find for some countries, but I can't find them for say the US, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ, Russia, China, Mexico, etm. It's often just the smaller countries I can find (plus Brazil)

An example would be Bavaria, which was a hair away from being an independent state, but which still had nothing on the flag. If you definitely want a flag, did you have any thoughts or sources of inspiration?

Sorry for not replying earlier, I've been away... The two are going to be united but the Prussians are going to be doing everything they can to keep the Austrians quiet and happy. If you'd like to still make one for pleasure, feel free, thanks for your offer.

wouldn't they simply use the the german imperial flag ? Or is whoever's in control of the actual german territory already using it ?

Would anyone be able to do me up a map of Canada, with an independent Quebec and Newfoundland? I'd also like Ungava (North Quebec) to be a part of NL along with Labrador.

I have another map request (albeit a much simpler one): I would like a map of a unified Italy that does not have Tyrol, Venetia, or anything east of them, but still looks good on a map. This Italy must also have Nice and Savoy. Who's up for it?

Since no-one has done my request, i shall request something else. A map of Byzantium in 1176, but with Ankara and Iconium taken for the Byzantines from the Seljuks. Also the former Seljuk Sultanate broken up into competing city states.

I'm with meta on this one and they didn't realy have any emblem-friendly ideology but just for kick, how about showing symbolicaly the unified states under a strong central leadership by removing the stars and replacing it with the US COA ?
