Could you guys color Russia a light green? The current color is indistinguishable from Persia.

They're completely different shades that don't look like each other in any way..

Yeah, I don't see where he's coming from. I suppose if I were on my phone it might be difficult.

Ack, I'm an idiot. I saw the map at the top of the previous page that was partially colored in Russia's color to show Russian influence and thought it was the regular Persian color.

Not that I know of.

Does anybody have any interest in working on the Western Polynesian islands?

Right, here we have the first of several.
Y'know, I bet we could switch the water and land colours and paste this in the Pacific and no one would notice .

You would lose that bet... I can't name every island in the Pacific, but I can identify what country each is from and would recognize that this doesn't fit anywhere.

Same here. Too bad it's useless nearly anywhere but here (except in rare cases in conversations-some of which have given me opportunity to impress my girlfriend's friends and family. )
I'm working on national capitals, solidifying my knowledge of Mexican and Brazilian states, and memorizing populations to a better degree than I know now.

My geography class this upcoming semester is going to be a breeze.

Unfortunately so, I swear I know maybe one person who is'nt completely geographically illiterate.

Africa and the small island countries are my weakspot in terms of capitals, as well as Mexican and Brazillian states; I can name a few of them, but only a small amount, which is odd considering how much I look at maps.

If I was gonna go to normal college (I'm gonna get a specific degree type thing from a specific place) that'd be a good idea for a class to take.

Yeah, Mexican and Brazilian state capitals are a little further down the line on things to memorize for me.

I'm trying to take a *fun* class every semester so I don't get burned out on mechanical engineering classes. Last semester was US History (which barely touched the surface!), this semester is World Geography and American Government (I registered too late to take Chemistry II so I had to fill my 12 hour requirement for VA payment with something).

Anyway, this'll be the last of my extremely off-topic posts here.

Nah, it's cool, so long as you contribute occasionally, and since I'm the one who started the thread.

Also, I keep forgetting to post these.

The first is just a border fix for Samoa, since it's been previously showing part of th State of Samoa as part of American Samoa.

The second is...well, it was something, but I don't remember what it was now, so here's Samoa atleast;

Does anyone have a patch for post-Napoleonic Germany and Italy? I'm looking to do an alternate 1848 outcomes map and the only QBAM bases I can find are either during the Napoleonic Wars or 1914, but both Germany and Italy rearranged their internal borders in between. Ideally with the Duchy of Limburg and Western Luxembourg marked, too.

Alright, three updates this time, including the one I could'nt remember yesterday!

1. Corrected Lake Qinghai from Lascupa's map.

2. Added the border seperating the Autonomous Provinces of Trentino and South Tyrol in the Trentino-Südtirol region of Italy.

3. Corrected part of the Turkish coast and islands in the Sea of Marmara.

Could you do Western Mongolia as well, please, since you're so awesome with the lakes.

Here we are. I've also moved Lake Sitenghu over a bit, hence it is also included. Mongolia next.

I've been planning on it but I don't really know where to begin. I guess with the Pitcairns going west, fix the friendship islands, put in the line islands. Problem is I can't tell how the projection would place everything.
