Retrospective Democratic primaries, 2008

Poll incoming. As Obama is not seriously primaried, there will be no separate thread for 2012.

Hillary Clinton

Because Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton as a list of American President would amuse me immensely.

(And if Jeb won in 2016...)

Then if Jeb's son George P. gets in the mix, we'll have our first Hispanic president!

Biden; a strong experienced statesman cursed with foot-in-mouth disease.

I supported Edwards in the primaries (not my smartest move in hindsight), then switched to Obama.

Hillary would've been more prepared. I'm wary on supporting senators rather than governors. At least Hillary kind of understood the shit Republicans do when a Democrat is in office.

And what a nightmare that would be A country of over 300 million people and we could find leaders in only 2 families?

Kucinich, with the caveat that if I had any ties to Libya I sure as heck wouldn't be saying this. Horribly wrong on Gadaffi, but would have been tough on the banks and a fighter for the economic interests of ordinary people.

Maybe Obama not getting elected might have butterflied away the Arab Spring. I'm by no means a butterfly fundamentalist, but it's certainly possible.
