Could you please change the Roman-Slavs nickname, we've already got a team nicknamed the Eagles.

I, President Alexander Schütt, elected by the people of the Union of german socialist States, announce, that we would support the idea, that either the Cup
will be placed either in the Lands of our Comrades in Katalonien, to be hosted in our ideally suited Homeland or to be a double hosted Cup, between us and our german brothers in the south, to improve our bad relationship in the last years. Our arguments are incontrovertible, that we have , with our southern neighbors combined, about 116,2 million inhabitants, more then one of the greatest Stadiums in the world, and an above average infrastucture. Also our hosting of the Worldcup in 1994 showed, that we have the ability to stage such an event of global significance With honor to the President of the European Football Association , A.Schütt OOC: The UGSS is not a warmongering communist state, and is not isolated like the GDR.

The Spanish delegation partly agrees to the proposal by President Schütt, however we reject the idea of the championship being hosted in Catalonia, seeing how they occupy parts of our rightfull territory. A double-hosted cup in the German states seems like a good idea.

The Slavo-Roman delegation would like to put foward our own bid to host the Cup in our own territories or a joint bid with our friends in Catalonia.

If nobody minds it; I think we should have a couple bigger nations as the last two. Instead of just space fillers it looks like we have room for football superpowers

I, Premier Ramon, agree that the cup should be hosted in one of the European communist nations, as previously there has been a neglect of our great people due to the distrust of our political systems. Holding the cup either in Catalonia or with our comrades in Northern Germany will show once and for all that football in Europe is not a platform for political manoeuvring and is, instead, a power for the good of the people, not weighed down by pointless geo-political squabbling. We would also like to confirm that a joint bid with our friends in the Slavo-Roman States would be a great platform to showcase the brilliance of our two nations.
Your's respectfully, Premier Ramon of the People's Republic of Catalonia Last edited by AlexLines; May 26th, 2012 at 04:02 PM.. |

I would prefer a double hosted championship with a communist and a
democratic nation. This will be the first sign of moving together and of peace. It is essential for the people of Europe to see there is no more anger in this historical chapter of divergence. We as Europe must stand together and should not be furious about other political Ideologies. So my Suggestions are either: the UGSS+ South-German Conference, Catalonia + Spain or the USRS + Russia. I hope my proposal will catch on, sincerely Alexander Schütt, Präsident der Union deutsch-sozialistischer Staaten
