WI Ataturk dies during WW1, or doesn't rise to power in any other way?
First I would like to know whether the Ottoman Empire would keep existing, or it only took a man the stature of Ataturk to turn Turkey into a powerful regional power. What is the extent of the Turkish state then, and what is the extent of Greece, Armenia? Does Armenia - ruling the Anatolian highlands - gets swallowed up by the USSR after the Reds win? What about Turkish nationalism? Would it even rise to a great extent without Ataturk, would it become a major faction, or would it just be a little less succesful? Let's also talk about what happens when the second world war breaks out - could a small, beaten, Turkey become revanchist and start making threats to the Greeks and Armenians, maybe even joining the Axis?

If the multiple problems with enforcing Sevres are solved there won't be a Turkey, there will instead be multiple states in Anatolia and ruthless proscriptions of Turkish nationalism in interior Anatolia as well as slaughter of Turks by Greeks and Armenians on both ends of Turkey. With this example any WWII will be an ugly sordid business as *everyone* knows what a harsh peace looks like and nobody will want to be "the next Turks."
