Close Calls, Plan B's and Twists of Fate in America's Past.

I just pick up Almost History by Roger Bruns. It has Eisenhower's speach for if D-Day would have meant disater day, to Kennedy's possible order on ousting the Mississippi's Govener. Has anybody else read this? I'll glean some of it for what ifs if you guys would like to run with them.
