Finland would not make a move without official Russian acceptance of a return to Treaty of Tartu borders, the legacy of Finlandization pre-empts it. On the other hand, it is very hard to see Russia cede those areas voluntarily. If Russia is weak enough to give in to the predictably feeble Finnish demands, the country is not in a position to launch a military attack on any country.

Polish nationalists take power, demand Kalingrad (no idea why they would, lets just say they think the borders would look nicer), Polish army seizes enclave, Russia invades through Belarus in response.


Pretty ASB, but its a challenge.

(examing the map) There isnt the same country-maybe poland(first Belarus attack it for returning belostok, and then Russia try to protect belarus)?

Moldova tries to forcefully reestablish control of Transnistria, Russians counter-invade to prevent this from happening.

Technically Transnistria was not a soviet republic as it was created by breaking away from Moldova and their declaration to be SSR was not recognised by Moscow.

Or you can have Romanians directly helping Moldova (either before or after Russian counter-invasion) and Russians attack them as well. Not likely as NATO would rein in Romanians in the first place and would strongly discourage Russians from invading one of their members.

The airlift to Pristina airport suffers a miss-navigation into so they invade Greece (if you want them beaten) or San Marino (if you want a victory). I think Balkans during the war might be a good idea, either as peace keeping mercenaries or as some friends of the Serbs if Mad Vlad is president.
