Nasser Dies in 1962
WI Gamal Abdel Nasser was assassinated in 1962? This was at the height of Egyptian involvement in the Yemeni Civil War, and before Nasser's relative political downfall after the Six Day War. This time period was a turning point for Egypt, and Nasser was seemingly all-important.
How would Egypt react to the assassination? How would Nasser be remembered? Who would be the most likely to kill Nasser, and what would the course be for Egypt and the Arabs after his death?
