Effects of Iraqi Victory in Iran-Iraq War

Just like the title says. Say the preemptive strike by the Iraqi Air Force goes extremely well and manages to destroy most of Iran's airforce on the ground, and the Iraqis manage to capture Abadan during the initial offensive. After a few weeks, Iran folds and agrees to Saddam's territorial demands.

What would be the effects, both on Iran, Iraq, and the world in general? Would Saddam go after Kuwait next? Would the theocracy in Iran collapse? What would the States do?

Discuss.

I think saddam would not go after kuwait due to not owing them money

the iran iraq war was coming about due to long standing issues between the countries

also I dont see the mullahs folding remember these are people who sent teens with no guns in their hands screaming to thier deaths against machine guns

Iraq would be alot better off actually and the people of iran as well since the mullahs would eventually be over thrown

and iraq because sadaam would have kept the liberal economy
