Fairness Doctrine Upheld.

The Courts uphold and reaffirm the constitutionality of the Fairness Doctrine in 1987. Morton Downey goes into advertising. Rush Limbaugh is fired from KBZ in Sacramento amid allegations of cocaine use. He divorces and becomes a publicist for the Kansas City Royals. In 1990 he passes the test for an air traffic controller and is now in charge of the airport at Cape Giraudeau.

What are the other consequences of the Fairness Doctrine remaining in force, particularly to American politics?
