Royal Guilds of the North...hmmm.

The Hanse loses a war and decides to make some deal where either head of the Teutonic Order or the King of Sweden becomes the "Defender of the Liberties of the Hanse."

The territories of said king/knight and the Hanse eventually merge into a sort of EU-like entity. England and Scotland get absorbed somehow, perhaps by marriage.

A surviving Fatimid Caliphate in NW Africa means that the Fatimids probably don't take Egypt, since when that happened, the Fatimids moved to Cairo and left their former western territories to others. This requires an early POD.

Royal Lilly sounds more Frankish than French to me, and many of the other changes also argue for an early POD (though Baden-Wurrtemburg argues for a much later one)... I'll throw out a guess and say that the Muslims never took Spain, which eventually fell to the Franks?

ACtually, the lilly was never a frank symbol AFAIK. It only came after a couple centuries of Capetian rule in France IIRC. I think it was Louis VI which introduced this as symbol of Capetian Monarchy, but I could be wrong.

The spanish-French fusion first spells to me french victory in the 7 years war. NA ( north Africa ) situation argues for a much earlier PoD, however. Perhaps a different Reconquista?

I had thought the lily came from Clovis? Wikipedia, admittedly not the greatest source, says "The fleur-de-lis' origins with French monarchs stems from the baptismal lily used in the crowning of King Clovis I."
