It was a tie between Whanztastic and Scarecrow's for me, but in the end I voted for Whanz's for its uniqueness.

I voted for Scarecrow, might not be the most unique but it was very well presented, and in some ways, quite restrained in a good way.
Whanz was a unique presentation, and actually suggests another, related challenge: pretty much the same as this challenge, but producing book covers instead of maps. I liked ah-sue and Morgan's as well. I was surprised that B_Munro and Odysseus seemed to compete for the most B_Munroite map ![]() Otherwise, strong round all round.

I voted for tormsen. While I feel like Whanz's was the most unique and had the more effective presentation, tormsen's scenario interested me the most and had the greatest overall effect when it came to my pondering of the POD and latter events.
