USA in alternate 40s.
In a scenario where the great depression is avoid, the Wiemar Republic survives and the World War II doesn't occur, how would be the United States in 40s?
Television by 1941? Without military-industial complex i don't see the "corporation man in gray flannel" like in 50s OTL,so less conformism in the society? And without GI bills we have an huge middle class, and suburbia ? Moreover without depression is probable that the USA of this timeline are in 40s a weathly country, and taxes are more low that in OTL. So? |

It's pretty damn hard to avoid the Great Depression with a PoD after the start of WWI.

It's hard to get the Wiemar Republic with a PoD before WWI.
