A More Successful Kazynski?

How could Theodore Kazynski, also known as the Unabomber, have made more inroads towards his goal of destroying industrial civilization?
I've got my thoughts for a timeline involving a technocratic world order and Kazynski being part of a luddite/populist terrorist group but I'd like to see what you gus think.
