More US officers live to fight another day
OK, following on from my recent post on the post-1900 page, how bout if the following pre-1900 US, CS or Indian military leaders, who OTL were KIA or died of disease before their time, actually survived ? How would their future prospects have been in subsequent wars ?
Richard Montgomery Cornstalk James Lawrence Tecumseh A.S. Johnston Stonewall Jackson John Buford Phillip Kearny JEB Stuart Robert Gould Shaw William Quantrill George Custer Crazy Horse Sitting Bull 'Bucky' O'Neil |

Richard Montgomery is one of my favs he was probably the best general the Rebels had in the beginning of the ARW. Keeping him means Washington has an able subordinate for later years in the war.
