Which should be made into TV or Movie?

Which do y'all think should be made into a TV series or a movie, Island in a Sea of Time, or 1632?

ISOT, without a doubt, because of its much broader and more interesting sweep of time and world cultures.

Either one

Both would make good TV movies.........in a dream world......who would you cast to play the leading roles?

I like both stories, but I think Hollywood would be truer to the book in 1632--it's a faster-paced work, and Hollywood seems to like fast paced action. It also has more opportunities for spectacles--armies on the move. the bombardment of a castle to modern rock music, dump trucks racing across open fields--with guns on them. It'd probably be easier to get a mass audiance to go to, also.

But... I'd LOVE to see ISOT done as an ongoing TV series, the only way it could be done right IMO.

Most of the action is shot on location in an American town. Less depends on CGI stuff. Too much ISOT stuff is off site. Nantucket is an expensive place to shoot, too.
Come to think of it, it might be cheaper off season. The unemployment rate is higher in the winter.
