What iif Videotaping was available and FDR,Marshall, and Stark sent persons out to Pearl(in disguise) and taped all that Short and Kimmel were doing from Spring 41 through 27 Nov(war warning note) to the attack>? What woul happen? Bet you those two officers would be in Big Trouble and any evidence showing their action or inaction would ruin them. What say you?

Hmmm, well this could go 4 ways
1. The military discover they are being secretly taped and the country is engulfed in a major internal crisis which distracts it from events vis-a-vis Japan even more so than OTL
2. The military doesn't discover it, FDR is pissed off at their actions, sacks them without explanation and it enters 'secret history' as a 'why did he do that'
3. Same as 2 but FDR reveals his sources to Congress etc, and there is much US support for a police state
4. The military doesn't discover it, FDR does nothing, and then there is a massive cover-up, the unexplained death of some agents, and the whole thing enters 'tall tales' of WW2
