What would have happened if the series had lasted a whole generation, following the quality curve it was following in its first three years?
Doctor What said:Robot and Dr. Smith kiss and make up and declare their love for one another. Tragically, Robot gets drunk one night on some high-grade oil after a fight with Z and ends up having a one night fling with a coffee maker. Relationship ends in recriminations but they decide to still remain friends....
Doctor What said:I grew up in Quebec and my first introduction to this show was when I was around 8 or so and I was watching them dubbed in French.
Picture that--an italian kid growing up in an english speaking home watching (badly) french dubbed Lost in Space episodes. And people at work wonder why I'm a little 'odd'
I was around 12 when I realized that Robot's trademark was NOT "Attention Will Robinson!" but rather "Danger Will Robinson"

Good story!
Diamond said:It might as well have lasted 20 years... we had that truly putrid movie version with Gary Oldman and William Hurt a few years back to revive our memories of how bad the show was in the first place.
I'd rather watch 'Land of the Lost' reruns. Or even 'Doctor Shrinker'.
