Big Dick Drops Dead

In early 2001 Dick Cheney had to have heart surgery, things have been relatively fine with him since, in the physical being anyway.

What if VeePee Cheney died on the operating table? Say he slipped into cardiac arrest and couldnt be revived.

How would the Bush administration react? What would his first four years look like with out the Big Dick? Who would he get to replace him? Someone in the administration? A fresh young face? An old timer? A familiear face like Bob Dole or his wife Elizabeth?

Without Cheney, there may be less of a chance for a War in Iraq....as I understand it, he was one of the war's biggest proponents, supposedly even pressuring the CIA for evidence of Saddam's WMDs.

I would suspect that Bush would select someone like Elizabeth Dole, or quite possibly Rudy Giuliani after September 11th. There has been talk of Rudy taking over the VP place this year, but it's more likely he'll be somewhere on the ballot in 2008, possibly after a Senate race in '06 against Clinton.

Bush actually has to spend a normal amount of time in the White House?
