improbable presidents

You know there has been alot of people who have ran for president even though it was very unlikely they would win. But what if something happened differently? What if there was an Anti-Masonic party president in 1832? Or to stay away from thrid party presidents: what if Hoover was able to defeat Roosevelt in 1932?

Any thoughts?

I have to say, it's difficult to find one more improbable than ...

Coluche.

( Unless one counts Antoine, but FAIK, he never even intended to run, just made a song about what he would change if he were president ).

So, Let's say everyone votes Coluche as a joke, knowing he would never be elected.... And the total gets above 50% on the first balot.

So we have it. No second chance, and we have a very interesting president for 7 years.

What happens? What are the international reaction going to be?
