Bonaparte's habit of shifting dynasties around gives us, as alternate historians, lets of fun oppurtunities.
The POD: Alt tilsit hits prussia even harder, reducing the state to prussia proper, as a russian vassal. Pomerania to sweden, perhaps?
Option A:
Now the fun begins. Jerome, in TTL, goes to naples when Joseph goes to spain, and the kingdom of westphalia gets given to murat.
The rest of the war goes as OTL, however, Murat defects to the allied cause in 1814; the war against france doesn't end til 1818. Murat's state encompasses the rhineland berg, and westfalia minus the hanoverian territories. Murat's heirs rule a liberal, modernizing state with aspirations towards being a great power.
Option B: Murat doesn't go to westphalia, and gets Naples. with Prussia crippled, who takes up its role on the rhine?
