The year is 885 and archbishop Method is dead and between his pupils argument between latin and slavic rites is alive. Prince Svatopluk supports the pro-slavic clergy and it gains strong hold in all lands of Great Moravia- Moravia, Slovakia, Pannonia, Bohemia, Lusatia and Silesia- and spreads further from there.
My idea was to have "scary Slavs". Great Moravia was first real Slavic state and positioned in way to make biggest impact. OTL it was smashed by its own mercenary troops- the Magyars-, but in this ATL Magyars will share the fate of Bulgars. Though for some time the center of West Slavs will move to Bohemia.
Anyways, what does rest of board thinks? Is my PoD enought to warrant early strong West Slavic state? Will we kick Germans hard enough, to not lose land to them? And if we do, how wold we change history from then on?
