How could the British and their Tory allies have made better use of the Indians during the Revolutionary War, so that instead of being such a perceived liability in terms of utilising 'savages', the Iroquois, Algonquins, Shawnee, and other tribes could've made a definite and substantial contribution to the British winning ? How could the Indians have been used to the extent that they were able to resist such American encroachments as Gen John Sullivan's campaign against the Iroquois during 1778/80 (?) ?
