Your goal, if you choose to accept it, is to avoid or delay the conflict between Iraq and Israel that tore the Coalition apart in 1991. Bonus points if it creates better Israeli-Palestinian relations. Good luck.
There was an SAS operation to set up listening posts in IRAQ to try and monitor the scuds. Perhaps a top secret operation could be arranged for them to go in and destroy the facility.
Sadly, the original mission was a cock up from the beginning as they were dropped off at the wrong point and their radios were (supposedly) faulty. On their attempted escape, they took on a crap load of men and vehicles so destroying the missile launching facility couldn't be so hard.
Or maybe, if they weren't spotted by those Bedouins they have done that. Barely anything has been revealed to this day, so they may even have been given the task of doing that originally.
Hindsight is indeed a wonderful thing. But if those missiles are already in Israel, then wouldn't firing those, have the same effect as Israel firing themselves?
Patriot missiles. They shoot down OTHER missiles. Specifically scuds.
If I'm wrong on that may someone correct me?
